Composite & tooling materials
The composite industry places the highest demands on technical products, materials and suppliers. Composite suppliers of aerospace, automotive, wind power, shipbuilding and rail vehicle construction industries are under extreme pressure to minimize weight. For this reason, carbon fibre and/or aramid fibre reinforced composite components play a major role, but classical glass fibre still has its application area as well. In combination with the reinforcement fibers mentioned above, composite components that meet the highest requirements can be produced using epoxy resin-based matrix systems. Our resin systems are suitable for all manufacturing technologies such as wet lay up, infusion, pultrusion, RTM, high pressure RTM, filament winding, compression molding and dynamic fluid compression molding.
Carbon reinforcing materials
Our high-quality carbon fiber products are suitable for all applications which demand a high level of quality and reliability as in the aerospace, automotive and transportation sectors as well as in shipbuilding and further industrial applications. The carbon fiber fabrics fulfill many different requirements, such as fiber orientation, drapability, thickness and resin permeability. PAN and PITCH based carbon fibers and exotic yarns can be converted into woven, unidirectional, multiaxial and 3D fabrics of various weights, weave styles and architectures.
Epoxy resin systems
Araldite formulated laminating resin systems for component manufacturing and mold making are proven and tested in all processing methods. They are used in the vehicle construction, racing and sports equipment construction, aerospace, transportation, marine, in wind energy industry, electronics, medical technology and many other industries.
Specialties for manufacturers & formulators
Specialties for the optimization of epoxy resin systems are used for the application-oriented adaptation of formulations for corrosion protection, for high-temperature applications above 200 °C or for the production of extremely chemical-resistant coatings. The specialty products are also used for the production and adaptation of adhesives.
