Adhesive Laboratory – Testing Adhesive Compounds According to DIN 6701-2 and DIN 2304-1
In our state-of-the-art, fully-equipped adhesive lab, we test all structural adhesive types for our customers in accordance with ISO, EN and DVS standards. To determine the mechanical, thermal and structural properties of adhesives, we have all the usual adhesive test methods available, such as tensile shear test, bead and angle peel test as well as aging simulations (e.g. Cataplasma, weathering). Selecting an adhesive, is determined by laboratory tests, taking into account various factors such as substrate, surface condition, application temperature and environmental conditions, whether an adhesive is suitable for the desired application. Laboratory tests thus contribute significantly to the quality assurance of adhesive-based connection technology. Our laboratory is certified to the highest safety standard (A1 / S1) in accordance with DIN 6701-2 for bonding of rail vehicles and vehicle parts and DIN 2304-1 for calculation of adhesive compounds. More than 15 other industry-relevant certifications make us the competence center for adhesive applications in many industries.
Technical application textile laboratory
In our textile laboratory in Alexandria (Egypt) we conduct quality checks and evaluations in all textile areas. For all physical and chemical tests, we have an extensive selection of technical test procedures available. In particular, manufacturers of home textiles, clothing and technical fabrics can assist with quality assurance and day-to-day operations in monitoring the properties of their products.”
