2-component epoxy resin adhesives

2-component epoxy resin adhesives harden at room temperature or elevated temperature, depending on the type. Resin and hardener components are available separately. The reaction starts after mixing. The use of cartridges makes them suitable for both industrial and Do-It-Yourself applications.

Araldite® 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

Depending on the type, they can be used for structural bonding of metals, thermosets and reinforced plastics. Can have very high strength and temperature resistance (up to 210°C).

Araldite® / Epibond® Syntactics

Core and edge fillers for weight-optimised, local reinforcement of highly stressed zones in composite sandwich components (force transmission, edges, etc.). The materials are inserted into the honeycomb core and are hardened. 1-component (thermosetting) and 2-component (cold-curing) available. Partially fire-protected up to FST properties according to FAR 25.853.

Araldite® Rapid 2-component fast curing epoxy adhesives

Fast curing, sets in 5 minutes, bonded joint can be handled after 2 hours. Waterproof, oil impact and chemical resistant. Bonds anything like metals, ceramic, plastic, glass, wood, rubber etc. Ideal for small assembly or repair (Industrial and DIY usage).

Araldite® Rapid Steel 2-component steel filled high strength adhesives

Metallic grey, gap-filling, steel filled epoxy. Sets in 4 minutes, bonded joint can be handled after 2 hours. Waterproof, oil impact, chemical and heat resistant. Adhesive can be drilled, sanded and painted. For most types of metals including steel, aluminum, iron, copper and brass. Ideal for Automotive repairs, household and general metal repairs.

Sets in 5 minutes, waterproof, oil impact and chemical resistant. Bonds anything to anything like metals, ceramic, plastic, glass, wood, rubber etc. Ideal for Industrial and DIY usage.

Araldite® Standard 2-component high strength epoxy adhesives

Sets in 90 minutes, long working life, waterproof, oil impact and chemical resistant. Bonds anything to anything like metals, ceramic, plastic, glass, wood, rubber etc. Ideal for large assembly or many components (Industrial usage).

BETAMATE™ 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

For crash-resistant structural bonding of repair sheets and metals in general as well as fiber-reinforced plastics. Achieves approximately the strength of 1K epoxy resin adhesives.

Epibond® 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

Primarily aviation materials for bonding in commercial aircraft, partly with qualifications from aviation OEMs and suppliers. Individual products fire-protected up to FST properties according to FAR 25.853.

L&L Bond® 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

Primarily for the bonding of cabin components in commercial aircraft, partly with qualifications from aviation OEMs and suppliers. The materials fulfil the FST fire properties according to FAR 25.853.

LOCTITE® Epoxy resin adhesives for medical devices

LOCTITE® epoxy adhesives offer high peel and shear strength on a wide range of metals and plastics. When cured, these crosslinked thermoset polymers exhibit excellent heat and chemical resistance, high cohesive strength and minimal shrinkage. The two-component LOCTITE® epoxy adhesives are packaged in double cartridges that can be processed like single-component adhesives using static mixers.

LOCTITE® Paste Epoxy Adhesives for Aerospace Applications

Pasty adhesives are usually 2-component and are used in a wide range of applications. In addition to the bonding of components, individual products are also used for tolerance compensation (liquid shimming).
