Bodo Möller Chemie Middle East FZE announces a reorganization of its management structure, effective from the beginning of 2025, to enhance market presence and drive growth in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. This allows the company to deliver customized solutions and technical support that meet the unique needs of the customers.

The Middle East and Africa represent a fast-growing and highly fragmented market for chemical raw materials, outpacing global industry growth rates. Accordingly, Bodo Möller Chemie Middle East serves a wide range of industries with its comprehensive portfolio: Products include industrial raw materials for coatings and construction (CASE), plastic additives, lubricant additives, and solutions for the life sciences industry. The formulated systems portfolio covers adhesives, sealants, and dispensers for industrial, construction and DIY applications. With a focus on providing innovative solutions, technical service through application labs, and agile logistics, Bodo Möller Chemie Middle East is poised to strengthen its presence and capitalize on growth opportunities in the MEA region.

By reorganizing its management structure, Bodo Möller Chemie Middle East aims to capitalize on this potential through providing targeted market development, tailored customer support, and operational efficiency. “Bodo Möller Chemie is committed to being a complexity reducer and solutions provider for its customers and suppliers,” says Frank Haug, CEO of Bodo Möller Chemie Group. “With our diversified portfolio, technical expertise, and local market insights, this new structure allows us to maximize opportunities and ensure sustainable, profitable growth in the MEA region.”

Abdallah Dabaghi, Executive Vice President MEA, will take charge of the entire raw material business for the Middle East and Africa, excluding South Africa and Kenya. Since joining Bodo Möller Chemie Middle East at the end of 2023, Dabaghi has significantly expanded the Dubai branch’s portfolio, including the addition of a new Life Sciences business unit covering personal care, home care, pharmaceuticals, and nutrition. With his extensive expertise in chemical distribution, Dabaghi is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, driving results, and fostering innovation. “Bodo Möller Chemie is confident that it has all the ingredients to become a leading and trustworthy chemical distribution brand in the Middle East and Africa”, comments Dabaghi. “We aim to be an indispensable partner to our suppliers and customers by conducting business with integrity, responsibility, and excellence while fostering positive impacts on society and the environment. We are excited to achieve our strategic objectives and elevate Bodo Möller Chemie to new heights.”

Basem Siaj, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Middle East and Bodo Möller Chemie Nigeria, will oversee the textile and formulated systems business, as well as administrative operations. Since its establishment in 2015, Siaj has successfully led the growth and development of the Dubai branch, transforming it into a key hub and positioning the company as a trusted solutions provider and leading application expert for the manufacturing industry across the Middle East. “With this reorganization, we are sharpening our focus on expanding further across the Middle East and Africa, boosting our ability to deliver customized solutions and cutting-edge technical support to our customers”, Siaj states. “Together, we will continue building on Bodo Möller Chemie’s legacy of excellence, strengthening our market presence and driving growth as a reliable and leading partner for our targeted industries in this dynamic and expanding region.”
