Battery cage

Adhesive technology constitutes a good alternative to traditional metal construction – particularly when stress-free, non-deformable and dimensionally stable components must be produced. Structural adhesives have been used in car body engineering for many years and contribute positively to crash performance. Semi-structural adhesives with lower modulus are suitable for tolerances and lower crash relevance of the cage.

BETAMATE™ 1-component epoxy resin adhesives

Specially developed for use in automotive shell construction to increase crash stability and stiffness. They adhere excellently to the oiled steel and aluminium grades used.

BETAMATE™ 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

For crash-resistant structural bonding of repair sheets and metals in general as well as fiber-reinforced plastics. Achieves approximately the strength of 1K epoxy resin adhesives.

L&L Room Temperature curing MMA Adhesives

Structural 2-component, methacrylate-based adhesives. Broad adhesion spectrum on different substrates. High strengths, fast curing times and elongation at break up to 70%.

L&L structural adhesive films

Self-adhesive EP adhesive strips, activated by heat, typically used in body-in-white construction. Different expansion rates enable bridging of gaps, compensation of thermal expansion and galvanic separation of substrates. Reinforcement of flat components.
