Structural bonding of exterior components & interior for automotive

A variety of different materials (e.g. plastics, composites, metals, glass) are used for add-on and interior parts. Special requirements arise from the combination of materials. The adhesive must build up good adhesion to the materials to be bonded, differences in thermal expansion are compensated by the adhesive and the adhesive joint.

Araldite® 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

Depending on the type, they can be used for structural bonding of metals, thermosets and reinforced plastics. Can have very high strength and temperature resistance (up to 210°C).

Araldite® 2-component methyl methacrylate adhesives

For all high-strength yet tough elastic adhesive joints. Very high tolerance to poorly bondable substrates or surfaces that are not optimally prepared.

BETAFORCE™ 2-component polyurethane structural adhesives, high modulus

Room temperature fast curing 2-component polyurethane adhesive with high mechanical strength and high elongation at break, specially developed for structural bonding.

BETALINK™ 1-component polyurethane semi-structural adhesives

High adhere, elastic and air humidity-curing adhesive and sealing compounds based on 1-component polyurethane. Approved by Technical Inspection Agency for the bonding of aerodynamic attachments in vehicle construction.

BETAMATE™ 1-component polyurethane structural adhesives

Air humidity curing 1-component polyurethane adhesives and sealants for high-strength, permanently elastic adhesive joints with accelerated curing.

BETAMATE™ 2-component polyurethane structural adhesives

2-component polyurethane adhesive for direct glazing which harden quickly at room temperature. Suitable for bonding metals, plastics and composites, provided that appropriate pre-treatment has been applied.

BETASEAL™ 1-component polyurethane adhesives for direct glazing

Highly viscous, air-humidity-curing 1-component polyurethane adhesive and sealing compounds for direct glazing in vehicle construction with diverse type-dependent properties.

BETASEAL™ 2-component polyurethane adhesives for direct glazing

2-component, non-conductive, high-modulus, highly viscous, chemically curing polyurethane adhesives and sealants for high-strength, permanently elastic adhesive joints of glass.

L&L Acoustic Sealants

L&L Acoustic Sealants are used as self-adhesive inflation tapes in automotive engineering to prevent the transmission of sound into the vehicle interior. Heat-activated, these foam up, show different expansion, density and cell structures and completely seal off cavities.

L&L Bond® 2-component epoxy resin adhesives

Primarily for the bonding of cabin components in commercial aircraft, partly with qualifications from aviation OEMs and suppliers. The materials fulfil the FST fire properties according to FAR 25.853.

L&L Seal 1-component silane-modified polymer adhesives

Primerless systems with good adhesion to metals, composites and plastics. Solvent- and isocyanate-free, with good UV resistance and low shrinkage for low marking.
