Methyl methacrylate adhesives (MMA)

Methyl methacrylate adhesives are polymerisation adhesives which harden by radical polymerisation and, depending on the formulation, can exhibit a wide variety of properties and strengths on a wide variety of materials. They are characterized by a very good ratio of open time to curing time.

1-component methyl methacrylate adhesives

No-Mix methyl methacrylate adhesives do not require a mixture of resin and hardener before joining. The hardener lacquer can be applied to the substrate in advance, the reaction only starts when the hardener lacquer comes into contact with the resin. Adhesive layer thicknesses of max. 0.8 mm must be observed here.

2-component methyl methacrylate adhesives

2-component methyl methacrylate adhesives are fast-hardening adhesives with a very broad adhesion spectrum. They are usually mixed and applied directly before application. They can achieve high adhesion values even after minimal surface pretreatment.
