Hybrid adhesives & sealants

Hybrid adhesives and sealants are silane-terminated polymers that combine the positive properties of polyurethane and silicone for use and processing, but chemically differs significantly from silicone. They have properties of the main chain comparable to those of polyurethane and harden like alkoxyl-curing silicones by elimination of methanol, but are free of silicone oils.

BETAFORCE™ Hybrid adhesive sealants for sealing welded housings

BETAMATE™ 1-component silane-modified polymer adhesives

1-component air humidity curing sealant based on hybrid polymer with permanent elasticity. Scentless, with low shrinkage, good UV stability and good primerless adhesion on many substrates.

L&L Seal Silane-modified polymer adhesives and sealants

A series of innovative one-component sealants that completely cure at room temperature. These systems can be applied with pre-treatment (only cleaning is needed) and show good adhesion to metals, wood, composites, and plastics. Solvent- and isocyanate-free, with good UV resistance and low shrinkage for low marking. The materials have a wide range of mechanical properties, from elastic sealants to creep-resistant elastic low-strength adhesives.

LOCTITE® Hybrid adhesives

LOCTITE® hybrid adhesives combine the advantages of instant adhesives with the benefits of structural adhesives such as epoxy resins. As a result, a very fast setting time with high final strengths and resistance to temperature and media can be achieved. A further advantage of the hybrid adhesives is the processing, as these products have been optimized and require minimal marking.
