On 1 April this year, Carsten Peder Jensen took on the role of Managing Director Scandinavia at Bodo Möller Chemie. In his new post, he will be focusing on continuously expanding the company’s market position in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. He has identified digital transformation as a key milestone from which both the company and clients are set to benefit.
In Jensen, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group has gained a renowned market expert with many years’ experience in technical sales and client-centric solution development. The trained textile and process engineer previously spent over 26 years working for BTC, part of the BASF Group, on the Scandinavian market. At the start of his career, Jensen concentrated primarily on textile applications. He subsequently enhanced his profile by acquiring wide-ranging commercial and technical expertise in other industrial sectors, such as plastics, coatings, pigments, additives and water treatment. This combination of technological insight, wide cross-industry knowledge and regional networking forms the basis for the next step in his career as Managing Director.
“I’ve set myself the personal goal of boosting growth at Bodo Möller Chemie Scandinavia,” states Jensen. “Together with the high-performing, strongly committed team, I want to consolidate the client focus even further, expand long-term partnerships and drive innovations on the market. I’d also like to speed up digital transformation and deliver solutions which create true added value for our clients and our business.”
From the Corporate Group’s perspective, the appointment is also an important step in expanding its market position in Scandinavia. Jensen not only brings in-depth understanding of client requirements in Nordic countries but also many years’ experience in building sustainable client relationships and developing strategic approaches throughout numerous sectors.
“In Carsten Peder Jensen, we’ve gained an experienced leadership talent who is thoroughly familiar with both the Scandinavian market and our clients’ requirements. The blend that he brings between technical expertise, strategic thinking and regional networking will prove crucial to consolidating and expanding our activities in Denmark, Norway and Sweden for the long term. We’re positive he’ll come up with great ideas for further growth and innovation in the region,” declares Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group.
