Adhesive expertise with own laboratory
The Bodo Möller Chemie Group has its own Adhesive Competence Center (ACC) equipped with adhesive technology testing and application laboratories, where structural adhesives are tested according to current ISO, EN, and DVS standards. For specific challenges of key industries such as e-mobility and aviation, cargo and freight transport, wind energy, marine, sports and leisure, the right adhesive systems are selected and, upon request by the customer, validated and examined in tests. The result is a turnkey solution for customers that includes not only the right products but also extensive application expertise. Apart from the physical characteristics, production-related challenges must also be solved so production suitable for large scale can occur. “We would like to guarantee our customers faster development cycles in line with the market, just as the desired or needed availability,” explains Frank Haug, Chairman of the Board of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group.
The company is certified according to the international standard DIN EN 9120 for the aviation industry and to the highest safety classes A1/S1 in accordance with DIN 6701-2 for the bonding of railway vehicles and their parts as well as according to DIN 2304-1 for the quality requirements for adhesive processes. Hence, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group is not only the ideal partner for established composite processing companies, but as a know-how carrier, it is also suitable for smaller firms and startups. “Our one-stop shop is not only the source for the material, but also due to having very long relationships with the leading manufacturers, we have the market knowledge and selection that gives us the ability to provide advice in a tailor-made way,” continues Haug.
