First bonding seminar was a success On October 28th and 29th, the first bonding seminar organised together by Bodo Möller Chemie and Huntsman Advanced Materials took place in Nierstein, near Mainz. The subject of this seminar was the “bonding as a modern assembly technology - metal, plastics and hybrids”.

This seminar was intended for users wanting to know more about the different advantages of the modern bonding technology. In almost every field of application in manufacturing industry, high quality adhesives enable the use of new materials, leading to many new innovations. One of the main topics of the seminar was the preparation and the bonding on plastics.

During two days, about 20 participants have been briefed on bonding for metal, plastics and hybrids through technical and product presentations, workshops and case studies.

In the evening, the participants had the possibility to meet and to discuss with the bonding experts of Bodo Möller Chemie and Huntsman Advanced Materials, sitting together for dinner and sampling wines of the area.
