European Coatings Show 2017: Specialized and functionally positioned for innovative applications Bodo Möller Chemie at the ECS 2017 from 4th to 6th April in Nuremberg (Hall 7/Booth 7-321)
In an international context, the ECS is the leading trade fair for paints and coatings, adhesives and sealants and products for the construction industry. The product spectrum ranges from raw materials for coatings, printing inks and adhesives to surface-active pigments and groundbreaking production techniques. This year particularly with regard to the new European chemicals regulation REACH, topics such as nanotechnology and innovations for UV LED curing will be presented. The Bodo Möller Chemie Group has many years of experience in application and process technology for high-tech coatings and offers a future-oriented range of additives, binders and pigments for the coatings and construction industry.
Specialization and functionality
The participation in the ECS is an important highlight for the Bodo Möller Chemie Group every two years. Managing Director Jürgen Rietschle emphasizes: “With our current product portfolio for coatings, we are optimally positioned to meet the demand for specialized and highly functional applications.” He explains further: “Especially to formulating companies we want to present new product solutions in all areas of the coatings industry as well as in construction chemistry.”
High-quality additives for the construction industry
In addition to raw materials and additives for coatings and paints, this year Bodo Möller Chemie is also focusing on the construction industry. In 2015, the company expanded its portfolio with special polymer dispersions from Organik Kimya for the construction industry as well as for the coatings and paint sector. These include redispersible acrylate powders, which additionally enable formulations with a low VOC content, as well as acrylate emulsions for use in curing membranes, primers and liquid tile cement. Bodo Möller Chemie also offers high-quality resins, pigments and additives such as defoamers, dispersing and rheology additives for the construction sector. Jürgen Rietschle describes the priorities: “It is important for us to strengthen our presence in this segment with products that meet customer needs in many building-specific applications,” and points out: “As a visionary distributor and problem solver, we like to offer our customers a comprehensive package and service from a single source.”
