Cooperation Forum on “Modern Plastics and Adhesives Bonding techniques” On February 11th, 2009, the MST Aerospace GmbH organises a cooperation forum on “Modern plastics and adhesives bonding techniques” taking place in Munich.
Bodo Möller Chemie is pleased to announce that Mr. Detlef Symietz, who is expert on adhesives, will give a lecture on “Bonding as a modern assembly technology – metal, plastics and hybrids”. Mr. Symietz is a physicist and was in his last position by Dow Automotive responsible for the research on bonding.
After having presented the basics and the specificities of the modern bonding technology, Mr Symietz will show examples of successful bonding applications, especially in the following fields: glass bonding in the car industry, crash resistant structural bonding, plastics and metal bonding and window frame bonding in the building industry.
An analysis of the bonding technique and a benchmarking show the many advantages of bonding compared with the classical mechanic and thermal assembling techniques. In all industrial sectors, the necessity of lightweight construction and the variety of raw materials are increasing rapidly, pushing the use of the modern bonding technology.
Interested persons can apply until February 4th, 2009 on the MST Aerospace homepage: http://www.mst-aerospace.de
