With modern block materials and adhesives the international specialty chemicals company Bodo Möller Chemie (www.bm-chemie.de) supports the e-gnition Racing Team of the TU Hamburg (http://egnition-hamburg.de/index.php) in the development and construction of the Formula Student racing car for the current season “egn14”.

The single-seater electric-powered racing car which quickly sweeps with 85kW power and up to 120 km/h across the Hockenheim-Ring and other racetracks was completed in spring 2014 and will race at this year’s Formula Student events in Austria (Red Bull Ring Spielberg) and the Formula Student Germany at Hockenheim.
The materials of Bodo Möller Chemie are used for the manufacturing of the laminating molds of the outer skin of the lightweight body and allow the aerodynamic, ergonomic and durable construction of the egn14.
