Bodo Möller Chemie at JEC World 2017 Mobility of the future: Specialty chemicals expert presents composite and adhesive portfolio

Offenbach am Main, February 21, 2017 – In just a few weeks the global composite industry will meet in Paris for the JEC World 2017 (14th-16th March). As one of the leading German experts of specialty chemicals the Bodo Möller Chemie Group participates in the trade fair. This year the focus will be amongst others on topics like electro mobility and the growing breakthrough of composites in the automotive industry. “The JEC is for us the key trade fair to position ourselves in the rapidly growing market of modern composite applications,” explains CEO of Bodo Möller Chemie Frank Haug. “With our participation, we are taking the opportunity to show our competence in emerging markets and new potentials and trends on an international platform.”

Megatrend Smart City

With the development of new high-quality materials in manufacturing industries such as automotive, transportation, wind energy, shipbuilding and aerospace, the requirements for a supplier are constantly changing. The Offenbach-based company specializes in the distribution of adhesives, composites, plastics and coatings. This year future topics such as eMobility, eConnectivity and eMotors are standing out. “The Megatrend Smart City poses major challenges for innovative high-performance materials, such as specialized adhesives, composites, and electronics casting resins. The greatest potential is currently offered by products that are used in emerging sectors such as mobility or alternative energies. Thanks to lightweight construction and electric drive technologies, among other things fossil raw materials can be spared and the CO2 emissions can be significantly reduced, “explains Frank Haug.
