Arrival of first pallet of National Adhesives products to Bodo Möller Chemie The first pallet of National Adhesives products that Bodo Möller Chemie will sell and distribute arrived on January 29th, 2008. Bert Verhaar - Sales Manager, Peter Lockey - Distribution Manager and Steve Kenny - Corporate Vice president from National Adhesives came to Bodo Möller Chemie central office in Offenbach to celebrate the official start of the cooperation between the two companies.

The distribution agreement, signed last March, entitles Bodo Möller Chemie to sell and distribute into the German market the packaging and the woodworking adhesives from National Adhesives. On April 1st, Henkel took over from Akzo Nobel the Adhesives and Electronic Materials businesses previously owned by National Starch.

Henkel has very a good market position in the laminating adhesives segment. Products used here in the manufacture of flexible packaging for food products, while National Starch is a leader in pressure-sensitive adhesives. As a result of the merger, these technologies will be accessible to a larger number of customers, while new areas of application are expected to be developed.
