3M™ VHB™ adhesive tapes
3M™ VHB™ tapes are high performance double sided tapes made from 100% closed cell acrylic adhesive. The tapes show very high instant adhesion, have excellent bonding properties with high tensile and shear strength, have high temperature, weathering, UV and solvent resistance as well as high conformability and bond materials with rough or smooth surfaces.
3M™ VHB™ tapes are suitable for many materials and are used today in a wide variety of markets, including rail and commercial vehicles, electronics, windows and doors, household appliances and the construction, aerospace and furniture industries.
The 3M™ VHB™ LSE Series tapes are specifically designed for low surface energy substrates to provide permanent bonds without the use of adhesion promoters. They are best suited for indoor and outdoor applications. The double-sided acrylic tapes are ideal for bonding aluminum, steel, glass, plastics and painted surfaces.
