Bodo Möller Chemie sign a co-operation agreement with Sensient, for the marketing of nano-particles for surface modification. Our partner SENSIENT manufactures nano-particles by the Sol/Gel technology. Sol/Gel technology is a common procedure for the production of nano-particle on basis of SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3. A multitude of functional groups can be introduced into the layer by application of the of modified silanes. In this way their properties can be guided into a wide range of possible technological applications. The characteristics could lead from non-adhesive, hydrophilic hydrophobic, antimicrobically over to scratch-proof up to the self-lubrication.
