Corrosion inhibitors

In metalworking and lubricant technology, metal surfaces must be protected from chemical changes (corrosion) or lubricants from catalytic processes. Depending on the type of metal, there are different chemicals that prevent corrosion or deactivate metallic surfaces, in particular non-ferrous metals.

Metal deactivators

Metal deactivators are a special form of corrosion inhibitors that form a passivating protective film, especially on non-ferrous metals. The effect is based on the formation of surface films, which as deactivators prevent both the conversion of catalytically active copper ions into the oil, and the oxidative attack of the copper surface by oxygen or oil degregation products. The products are water-soluble, oil-soluble and liquid and firmly available.

Multi-metal corrosion inhibitors

Our multi-metal corrosion inhibitors are mixtures of liquid metal corrosion inhibitors. The active ingredients are soluble in mineral oils, water and many organic solvents. With our quality program of inhibitors, individual services and system solutions, we help our customers achieve a decisive product advantage.

Rust inhibitors

Corrosion is the chemical attack on various metal surfaces. Our inhibitors prevent rusting as a form of corrosion caused by oxidation. Our anti-corrosive additives are used in lubricants and coolants and form a protective film by chemical reaction and / or neutralization of the acids by attachment of polar compounds to the metal surface.
