Bodo Möller Chemie ernennt Jason Blyth zum Managing Director für Südafrika und Kenia Neue Führungsverantwortung für Subsahara-Afrika

Jason Blyth has been serving as Managing Director for Bodo Möller Chemie in South Africa and Kenya since July 1, 2025. In this role, the seasoned specialist in chemicals distribution is responsible for all the company’s business units in East and Sub-Saharan Africa. The aim is to expand the company’s regional presence for the long term and consolidate Bodo Möller Chemie’s position as a leading solutions provider for specialty chemicals.

Jason Blyth has over 20 years’ experience in chemicals distribution. Over the course of his career, he has held various positions, largely focusing on strategic sales, market development, and cultivating long-term client relationships. Part of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group since 2020, until now, he had mainly been responsible for business development on the South African market. His fields of activity have primarily revolved around chemical raw material solutions, especially coatings, adhesives and formulated systems. During this time, he made a significant contribution to setting up and expanding sales activities.

Since July 1, 2025, Blyth has been coordinating business operations in East and Sub-Saharan Africa in his role as the new Managing Director. His work focuses heavily on enhancing market presence with innovative product solutions and forging stronger partnerships with manufacturers such as BASF, Celanese, DOW, DuPont, Henkel, and Huntsman. Another priority is expanding the high-performance team, which delivers customized solutions based on its technical expertise and proximity to clients. “I’m looking forward to working with a dedicated team to bring new momentum to the region. Our strength as a solutions provider lies in combining technical expertise, proximity to the market, and true client focus,” affirms Blyth. He is also centering on steadily increasing operational efficiency and advancing strategic initiatives to fortify the company’s structure. The goal is to optimize service quality and position Bodo Möller Chemie as a long-term, reliable partner in chemicals distribution.

Bodo Möller Chemie South Africa was founded in 2011. Today, the company operates two distribution sites in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth. The South African subsidiary serves numerous local and international clients with raw materials and technical solutions in the specialty chemicals segment. The subsidiary in Kenya was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Nairobi, the capital.
