Structural adhesives for the marine industry

Structural components in the marine construction must be joined to one another while high reliability regarding durability and mechanical stress resistance of the connection is crucial.

 

Huntsman offers three powerful Araldite® adhesives for the marine industry. The trio makes it possible to bond large parts, repair in humid conditions and be ready for high-end performance:

• Araldite® 2023 is a two-component acrylic adhesive which is extremely flexible for thick bond lines and heavy loads. The adhesive is also appropriate for simple assembly of large and complex parts.
• Araldite® 2051 is also two-component acrylic adhesive. Its strengths include fast repairing in cold and humid condition and reliable bond in automated assembly line.
• Araldite® 2015-1 is a two-component epoxy adhesive which is dynamic loads resistant and as a high stiffness and high-end performance.
