Karin Håkansson is new Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Sweden Management change in Scandinavia

The Bodo Möller Chemie Group has appointed Karin Håkansson as the new Managing Director of the subsidiary in Sweden with effect from June 1, 2024. From January 1, 2025, Håkansson will also take over the management of the branches in Denmark and Norway.

With her appointment, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group is relying on an experienced leader with extensive expertise and many years of experience in the chemical industry. Karin Håkansson holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and has gained extensive experience in the paint and coatings industry in her career to date. In addition to her role as Managing Director, Karin Håkansson has also been employed as Sales Director Additives Nordics at the Bodo Möller Chemie Group since June 2024.

In her new functions, she will drive forward the strategic development of the identified segments within CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers), Plastics, Rubber and Textiles and further expand the market position in these segments in the Nordic region. „The appointment of Karin Håkansson is a decisive step in further strengthening our focus and customer orientation.
