Bodo Möller Chemie enters distribution partnership with Rain Carbon in Central and Eastern Europe New addition to specialty chemical portfolio for CASE applications

The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is expanding its portfolio: On July 1, 2025, the company took over exclusive distribution of Rain Carbon Inc.’s NOVARES® hydrocarbon resins and RUETASOLV® solvents in Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. The partnership strengthens Bodo Möller Chemie’s position as a leading solutions provider for raw materials in the paint, adhesive, and rubber industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

Rain Carbon Inc., a global leading supplier of refined hydrocarbon products, has used calcination and distillation methods to transform industrial by-products into premium raw materials for over 150 years. As part of a new distribution partnership, Bodo Möller Chemie has taken over exclusive distribution of two key Rain Carbon product lines: NOVARES® hydrocarbon resins and RUETASOLV® solvents. With these products, Bodo Möller Chemie is targeting applications in the fields of coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE). Paint, adhesive, and rubber product manufacturers in particular stand to gain from this extended portfolio and the applications expertise that the experienced sales team offers. Thanks to the close cooperative partnership with Rain Carbon Inc., clients will be able to access time-tested raw material solutions renowned for their high quality and dependable performance in industrial processes. The distribution agreement will apply to Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic initially. An expansion to other markets in Central and Eastern Europe is already planned.
