Abdallah Dabaghi becomes Managing Director in Egypt, Nigeria and the Middle East at Bodo Möller Chemie New Executive for growing MEA Region

Abdallah Dabaghi took over operations management as Managing Director for the locations in Egypt, Nigeria and the Middle East in May and July. His expanded responsibilities build on his existing position as Executive Vice President Middle East and Africa (MEA) and consolidates overall responsibility for the locations.

As Managing Director for Egypt, Nigeria and the Middle East Abdallah Dabaghi will drive the business and strategic development across the MEA region, with a particular focus on client growth and market expansion. With over 25 years’ experience in the chemicals distribution sector, Dabaghi brings extensive knowledge of sales, business development and regional corporate governance to his new post. He has a strong track record in building up regional organizations and cultivating long-term relationships with clients and suppliers. His wide-ranging expertise covers numerous application areas within the chemical industry. He has already made a significant contribution to Bodo Möller Chemie’s growth in the Middle East: Since joining the company in late 2023, he has been a driving force behind advancing and expanding the Life Sciences business lines.

In his new role, Dabaghi will consolidate Bodo Möller Chemie’s presence in existing markets and develop new business activities across the region. One key priority is to strengthen the group’s position as a leading solutions provider and trusted partner for specialty chemicals, adhesives, sealants, composites, and advanced materials in the Middle East and Africa. He will also focus on further developing the local offices and management teams. With the provision of increased technical and business support, the company is aiming to build closer ties with clients and work together with its international suppliers to unlock new business opportunities.
