Photoinitiators are the key component in UV-curable coating and resin formulations. By using photoinitiators, decorative and protective coatings for wood, paper, metal and other substrates can be cured in seconds. Thanks to UV curing, efficiency can be increased through shorter curing times.

Photoinitiators are also used in UV printing. The advantages of this printing technology include the variety of printable materials, very fast drying, high printing speed and constant print quality.
