Bodo Möller Chemie integrates part of Planatol’s Indian activities
The Bodo Möller Chemie Group has extended the portfolio of its newly founded Indian affiliate, Bodo Möller Chemie India. It will assume responsibility for the distribution of wood adhesives for Pune-based Planatol Adhesive India Ltd. The move comprises all local customers, the distribution rights for wood adhesives in India and the warehouse in Nagpur. Alongside China, India is considered to be a growing giant of industrial production. Adhesives play a key role in the processing of traditional materials like wood. Rapidly growing construction and furniture industries are the main markets for wood and wood-based products. Bodo Möller Chemie will distribute the full range of Planatol’s wood adhesives, which comprise all the relevant technologies required for the market, namely dispersion glues, hot melts, urea resins and reactive PUR hot melts.
India means growth

The company boasts more than 40 years’ experience in the distribution and application of speciality chemicals, which are its core activities.
Planatol has been producing industrial adhesives for the graphic arts, packaging and woodworking industries for more than 80 years. In the Bodo Möller Chemie Group, we have found the perfect partner. Our complementary activities allow us to offer customers an attractive portfolio and a highly qualified technical sales team. We are looking forward to collaborating with the Bodo Möller Group,” says Robert Alber, Managing Director of Planatol Wetzel GmbH.
