Bodo Möller Chemie expands the sale and distribution of Sanitized® in Eastern Europe Antimicrobial solutions make polymers hygienic and usable for a longer period of time

Starting on November 1, Bodo Möller Chemie takes over the distribution of SANITIZED AG products for the Eastern European market in the area of all plastic processing applications. The portfolio of the Swiss manufacturer SANITIZED focuses on antimicrobial additives for the polymer and textile industry, and offers extensive hygiene and material protection options. The antimicrobial solutions can be used for the most varied products made from thermoplastic, extruded or molded polymers, for items made of soft or hard plastic as well as for coating numerous surfaces. The sales & distribution partnership between SANITIZED and Bodo Möller Chemie has existed since 2018. Both companies, which deal with high-quality technical applications, are regarded as experts in the polymer industry. With its own laboratories and an extensive knowledge of applications, Bodo Möller Chemie is not only a sales & distribution partner, but also a know-how carrier that provides industrial customers with tailor-made solutions.

Material protection and hygiene

The products provided with Sanitized® additives confer a longer service life as well as more functionality and performance in every application. With the addition of antimicrobial additives, companies have direct access to valuable polymer formulations. Textiles and plastic products made of a wide variety of materials can be antimicrobially treated with Sanitized®. The materials can be used in public transportation and buildings, construction materials, ventilation systems, tanks, protective clothing and normal clothing, floor coverings and floor coatings, kitchen appliances and substances or other coating solutions. The antimicrobial Sanitized® additives protect end products made of soft and hard plastic from bacterial contamination, algae and mold growth, material degradation, biofilms, pink stains and microbial odors.

Ingredient branding creates trust

The Sanitized® brand name has long been considered a seal of quality and trust for the labeling of textile and plastic products. This “ingredient branding” shows the added value for maximum hygiene and material protection – to final customers as well. Here, Bodo Möller Chemie takes care not only of the technical issues, but of the marketing aspects of the license concept too. The antimicrobial additives not only significantly preserve appearance and hygiene for a longer period of time, but also extend the service life of plastics like tarpaulins, tents, awnings or parasols and umbrellas. “To our customers from numerous sectors, we claim to have the best solution for their products and production steps. To accomplish this, we combine expert advice with the best suppliers,” explains Jürgen Rietschle, Managing Director of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group. “The existing collaboration between Bodo Möller Chemie and SANITIZED benefits everyone involved – thus, the joint market development in East European countries is in these countries a logical step to move closer to the customer in the future as well,” adds Michael Lüthi, Head of Business Unit Polymer Additives at SANITIZED AG. “SANITIZED and Bodo Möller Chemie unite the philosophy to serve the customer with a varied service package in addition to first-class products. We look forward to the deeper collaboration,” says Michael Lüthi further.
