Vienna bio-Polymer Days 2010

Bio-packing is a European project running for two years aiming at the entire development process of packaging based on biopolymers. This comprises the following steps: selection of the appropriate materials, preparation of the composition and processing guidelines, packaging production, testing and admission to the market and finally disposal or recycling considering CO2 emissions.

For this project, Bodo Möller Chemie Austria supplied and tested Arkema and BASF products (impact resistance modifiers, antioxidants, light stabilisers etc.). On the second day of the conference, Otmar Ruhaltinger, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Austria will give a speech on “additives for bio based polymers”.
