Bodo Möller Chemie enters Nordic and Scandinavian market

Bodo Möller Chemie has signed an agreement to acquire the distribution asset of A/S ALFRED GAD, a chemical distributor for specialty chemicals. A/S ALFRED GAD works with important international principals in following sectors: paints, varnishes, inks, adhesives, plastics and construction. The company operates two warehouses in Denmark.

Bodo Möller Kemi Danmark, the new Danish company, is based in Stenløse, 35 km north east of Copenhagen. According to the contract signed between Ciba and Bodo Möller Chemie, Bodo Möller Kemi Danmark takes over the distribution of polymer additives, coating additives, pigments, and lacquer additives in Denmark.

The company emanates from the distribution business of Alfred Gad and has a complete and full set up with own warehousing and a local customer service which is important to our customers as being a superior partner.

For leading this new subsidiary, Frank Haug, General Manager of Bodo Möller Chemie GmbH, is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Peter Holm as new Managing Director of Bodo Möller Kemi Danmark. Before joining Bodo Möller Chemie, Peter Holm worked for A/S ALFRED GAD/Ciba since 1984. Peter has a chemical engineering background and worked most of the time in the coatings business and small lot distribution for general industry.

Bodo Möller Kemi Danmark started his activities on October 1st, 2008.
